4am

From the Artist…

‘4am examines the inner turmoil that is formed during moments when identity feels fragile and unstable. The feeling of discomfort rather than an explicit narrative gives rise to themes of mental health and self-perception. 4am shows how external factors push inward and affect young individuals' self-perception on a mental and physical level. 4am creates a space for experiences that are frequently hidden and unsaid. It gives a silent awareness of shared truths while reaching outward to people who recognise this hour, this sensation, and this weight, yet remaining rooted in human experience.’
